The Burn 7 area is underlain by amygdaloidal andesite and basalt of the Lower Jurassic Hazelton Group, Nikitkwa Formation. Locally, small discontinuous copper-silver bearing quartz veins cut the volcanics in areas of pervasive chlorite-epidote-carbonate alteration. Pods of chalcopyrite, sphalerite and galena are reported in the quartz veining.

A plotted mineralization location symbol appears to be the only reference for this occurrence (Fieldwork 1988, page 196, Figure 1-23-2). The symbol description provides the only mineralogical information available. The location of the original Del (Del Santo)showing and claims are farther east-northeast from the Burn 7 showing area (named for the Burn 7 claim) held in the late 1980s by Canadian United Minerals. The Burn 1-7 claim group covered a large area at the time and encompassed the Del Santo claims.
